Apple Sage Stuffing

5 cups large herb croutons
16 ounces chicken broth
2 cups apples cubed
1 tablespoon dried sage leaves
1 stick salted butter melted
1 cup onion chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 tablespo on nutmeg grated
salt and pepper

Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a large pot. Add the celery and the onions and gently cook until translucent. Add the croutons and the apples to the pot and blend well. As crouton mixture is heating slowly add the chicken broth. Season with the nutmeg, sage, salt and pepper to taste. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
